I want to swap out the internal parts from my old Aston key to this one by myself... how do I do that?
Great question. If you've dabbled in electronics before, and know what heat shrink tubing is, then you'll find it pretty easy. We'll send you detailed instructions, with photos. If you're not so sure, or if you change your mind when you see the instructions, then just send your old key to us and we'll do it for you, no charge.
How fragile are these keys... have you dropped one yet?
Precious metals are relatively soft, not brittle like glass, but not as forgiving as plastic.
We've done some tests, and made some design tweaks. The keys should survive an accidental fall with only superficial damage, however, we recommend using the case to securely protect your key from scratches or falls while you're out and about.
Are you associated with any of the car manufacturers, like Aston Martin?
No, we aren't. Andrew is a member of the Aston Martin Owners Club of Victoria, but otherwise we're not associated with, nor represent, Aston Martin Lagonda Limited. We just make aftermarket keys for some of their vehicles.
